It is reported that the BJP government is going to implement the new education policy in the second week of November, which is facing severe opposition across Tamil Nadu. Millions of letters have been sent to the Ministry of National Human Resources Development, urging for the complete withdrawal of the NEP.
The BJP government is now trying to finalize the draft of the NEP by making only a few minor corrections to the old draft which is completely waste. It has been reported in the media that a cabinet meeting will be held to confirm the final report.
Many states including Tamil Nadu have been voicing in their claim that the right to education belongs to the states. But the Union Government of India is going to snatch the education authority from the concurrent to central list. This is the biggest issue of the NEP.
The Union Government of India is trying to impose Indian-level entrance exams in all areas of Arts, Science, Law, Engineering and Medicine. While the Tamil Nadu people are still struggling against the Medical NEET exams, silently the admission to all courses through entrance exams will be introduced through this education policy.
This education policy states that there should be a common public exams for students of 5th and 8th grade. This policy encourages rural poor students to discontinuing education from schools. This policy encourages the complete shifting of poor students from college to vocational education as soon as they complete class 10.
With the introduction of multinational corporate investments in education, education is going to become a costly commodity which is out of reach for the poor. Making only few minor corrections for the namesake without making any changes in the above said features. The union government is about to finalize the new national education policy by falsely claiming that it has been corrected by public opinion. The Government of India has already begun to implement the new educational policy under various names.
As Tamil Nadu protests against the trilingual policy of imposing Hindi and Sanskrit, stating that there is no language imposition, but the Union Government has laid down the policy of imposing Hindi and Sanskrit indirectly, by spending millions of rupees on Hindi and Sanskrit alone. The BJP government is doing the job of recruiting Sanskrit teachers in schools, so it seems to be cheating that in the name of trilingualism any language can be read as a third language. Tamil Nadu’s demand is that trilingualism be completely eliminated and bilingualism be pursued. But the new education policy imposes the trilingualism on Tamils.
Various states have opposed the creation of the RSA, the central education authority, which takes away education from the state government and facilitates the central government. The BJP government is reported to have said it would change it, but only shifted its chief responsibility from the Prime Minister to the Minister of National Human Resources Development.
The demand of the Tamil Nadu people is to completely withdraw the draft of the new education policy. The idea that the union government is taking away the right to education from the state is an undermining of democracy. Government trying to finalize new education policy by November would not be an honest act, which is mere cheating the people, while they are struggling and to end the new education policy.
The BJP government should not forget that Tamil Nadu has a history of making students take to the streets to protest against the Hindi imposition. The Indian government should immediately drop its attempt to enforce the injustice of national education policy. Otherwise we will announce that the BJP government will face severe resistance from the Tamil Nadu people.

_De La Rue Public Limited Company & BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party)_
To begin with, let us date back to an incident that took place about 20 years ago (December 24, 1999) when the Indian Airlines flight (IC814) heading towards New Delhi from Kathmandu (Nepal) was hijacked by a group of terrorists. At the injunction of the terrorists, the flight was made to land at 3 different cities starting with Amritsar, Dubai and eventually landing at Taliban controlled, Kandahar located in Afghanistan. Many of us may not be aware of a situation that existed back then for a possible rescue operation by the Indian Army when the flight was landed at Amritsar, but then, the BJP government that was in power during that time was not prepared to perform the rescue operation due to the presence of one individual, *India’s Key Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW) Officer, Shashi Bhushan Singh*.
Eventually, the Indian government conceding to the terrorist’s demands, released three high profile terrorists from its prisons in exchange for the passengers and the R&AW officer’s life. All the negotiations with the terrorists were managed by India’s then *National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval*.
As you may be aware now, three of the released terrorists later formed a terrorist outfit, *Jaish-e-Mohammed* which claimed responsibility for some of the worst terrorist attacks on the Indian soil right from the Indian Parliament attacks in 2001 up until the recent Pulwama attacks at Kashmir culminating in the death of 40 CRPF soldiers.
Despite being accountable for such a devastating security decision, Ajit Doval was once again appointed as the National Security Advisor by the current BJP government in 2014. The billion-dollar question of BJP government re-appointing Ajit Doval as the NSA, despite his miserable failure shall be answered if we are able to track the identity of the *‘50-year-old VIP’* who was present in the same hijacked flight IC814 whose safety was coercively prioritized for India by the Switzerland and Italy government officials during the course of that hijack.
Foreign Governments were keen on one individual’s safety and had insisted the Indian government to heed to the terrorists demands, whatsoever it may take. The foreign governments had citied that the VIP was *Robert Giori, the CEO of De La Rue PLC* which was responsible for printing around 90% of all the world’s currencies and without him, there might be chances of a global cash meltdown (http://bit.do/ePoVj).
The then external affairs minister of Switzerland, Joseph Tesi was in constant touch over the phone with the then external affairs minister of India, Jaswanth Singh and exerted immense pressure on the Indian government to amicably give in to the terrorist’s demands. The Swiss government had even flown a team under General Hans to assist and oversee India’s handling of the situation. Amidst the high drama, the Indian government had paid a heavy ransom to the terrorists to save Robert Giori and flew him back to Switzerland under direct command of General Hans’s team.
Robert Giori was the foremost kingpin of the World’s Currency industry. He was nicknamed the ‘Currency King’ by the World’s Top Financial Companies as his company ‘De La Rue’ had not only printed 90% of all the international currencies but also was the top player in manufacturing currency printing machines, currency printing inks, training and mentoring majority of the printers who excelled in currency printing. In short, Giori had established a profound dynasty that owned the World’s currency printing business in its entirety. He was also one of the obscenely rich individual who perpetually helped his peers in stashing their black money in tax havens and later launder it as well.
He was also notorious in printing and distribution of counterfeit currencies to various terrorist outfits across the world and inflicted artificial economic crunch thereby devastating the sovereignty of nations.
It might come as a shock that Giori’s company, *De La Rue was indeed printing India’s currencies as well for over 100 years*. The top 4 companies that officially print Indian currencies for our Reserve Bank of India are 1) UK based De La Rue, 2) Australia based Innovia, 3) Munich based Giesecke & Devrient and 4) Swiss based Landquart.
The biggest player among the lot, De La Rue was banned from printing Indian currencies by the Indian government in 2011. The ban resulted from CBI raids which unearthed crores of counterfeit Indian currencies (Denomination of 500 & 1000) across 70 bank branches in Indian & Nepal. Similarly, counterfeit currencies were confiscated from terrorists in the Indian – Pakistan border as well. Source of the counterfeit currencies was successfully traced back to India’s very own Reserve Bank of India which when questioned by the CBI authorities revealed that RBI had outsourced the printing of 500’s and 1000’s to foreign companies like De La Rue via indirect agreements and the printed currency notes were then exported to India for circulation by the RBI.
Journalists questioned India’s economic sovereignty which was followed by a Joint Parliamentary Committee that heard the relevant explanation from the Reserve Bank. It was revealed that about 500,000 notes worth over Rs 1 Lakh Crore were printed by foreign companies per the deal, the majority of which was contracted to the De La Rue company. These companies have also been found to sell currency printing technology of India and various other countries to some of the terrorist outfits. The UK government’s Serious Fraud Office exposed various allegations, such as the sale of bad quality papers for printing currencies. All of this led to the ban of the De La Rue Company in India in 2011.
Following the ban of De La Rue, about 2000 metric tons of paper that had been stocked in their warehouses for printing cash had piled up. This caused a huge loss to the company. It also suffered a sharp decline in the stock market as India’s currency printing contract was terminated with De La Rue. The then CEO of the De La Rue Company, James Hussey was held accountable for the company’s downfall and had stepped down as the CEO.
The De La Rue Company which had become hugely infamous for having involved in serious frauds had taken a new form in the disguise of *KBA GIORI* company with Switzerland’s support. In the recent few years, De La Rue company in its new form as KBA GIORI had attempted to compensate its losses incurred in the past by tipping commissions to a wide range of agencies across New Delhi in order to secure Reserve Bank India’s contract once again.
*Modi’s current BJP government had expunged the records of ‘De La Rue’ being banned in the past to award a secretive tender to the KBA GIORI company for printing India’s currency notes. The tender was secretive as the agreement was neither discussed in the parliament not disclosed to public.*
*In November 2015, the De La Rue company once again dominated its operations in India via the project centered around UK & INDIA’s DEFENSE & INTERNATIONAL SECURITY PARTNEERSHIP AGREEMENT.*
*Since then, the stock of De La Rue surged by 33.33% in a short sprint of 6 months. In short, Modi and the BJP government had aided De La Rue to reestablish its currency printing empire across the international market.*
Shiv Sena MP Hemant Godse has publicly stated that Modi had involved in the favorable allotment of 10 acres of land in Aurangabad for a new company, ‘Security Papers Mills’ to print government bonds.
In April 2016, when the infamous “Panama Papers” emerged implicating all tax dodgers across the world, the *De La Rue Company’s name came up in an allegation for having bribed an agency in Delhi with 15% commission to strike a contract with the Reserve Bank of India. Similarly, the Reserve Bank of India was implicated for having paid 40 million pounds for the contract*. Unexpectedly, Modi government banned the De La Rue company in April 2016.
Nevertheless, 6 months before the announcement of demonetizing 500 and 1000 rupee bank notes on 8th November 2016, Modi government had already started printing 2000 rupees notes with the signature of Urjit Patel via the De La Rue company. In August 2016, about 480 million 2000 rupees and an equivalent amount of 500 rupees banknotes were printed by the De La Rue company.
By awarding the printing contract of 2000 rupees to the De La Rue company, the BJP government had involved in a grand coalition with the De La Rue company to earn millions of crores of rupees.
India’s NSA Ajit Doval should be the brain and heart of this conspiracy as he was the key redeemer of De La Rue company by safeguarding Robert Giori from the terrorists back then in 1999.
Post demonetisation, Ajith Doval’s son Vivek Doval and Shaurya Doval, stashed massive amounts of black money in Cayman Islands under the guise of a shell company, GNY ASIA and later used it to bring back thousands of crores of rupees into India under the guise of foreign investments. Panama Papers had accused another director of the GNY ASIA company, Don W EBanks, for stashing black money across several tax havens. Vivek Doval’s brother, Shaurya Doval runs a company, Gemini Financial Services company, of which, one of its two directors is the Pakistani Syed Ali Abbas and the other one is the son of Saudi King, Mishaal Bin Abdullah Bin Turki Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who finances the ISIS terrorist group.
Six months before the announcement of the note ban and introduction of 2000 rupee note by the Modi government on November 08, 2016, about 26 officials across various departments in the Indian Union headed by Amit Shah had sought the help of De La Rue to print the 2000 rupees. After announcing demonetisation, they had approached top capitalists in India to supply them with the new 2000 rupee notes (that were printed outside of India before 6 months) as a mean to launder their black money. They had charged around 15% to 45% commission for the laundering their black money.
*In short, we are talking about a massive scandal of ‘3 lakh crores’ at a minimum.*
All of this was confessed by one of the senior RAW agents, Rahul Ratnakar (see image) who was one of the key partners in facilitating this scandal.

In this scandal, various departments of the Indian Union have been used illegally. All of the money that was printed overseas had been flown to India with the help of Indian military to the military airbase, Hinden from where the printed money was then circulated to the top capitalists who were keen to launder their black money.
The ultimate fraud that is concerned with this scandal is that the governors name on the 2000 rupee notes that were printed overseas during April 2016 (6 months before the note ban) had Ujjit Patel’s signature on it as the Indian RBI Governor whereas Raghuram Rajan was the actual Indian RBI governor during that point of time.
This implies that Modi and the BJP government had planned and executed this scandal by printing notes with Urjit Patel’s signature well beforehand during April 2016 and then appoint him as the governor only during September 2016, just a month before the note ban was announced so that it looks as if the new governor, Urjit Patel had signed the 2000 rupee notes and not raising any suspicion about the notes being printed overseas well before 6 months. Also, the screen fell in the drama with the new governor, Urjit Patel supporting the BJP government’s currency ban decision.
*For a moment, just think of the acuteness and the scale of the scandal that BJP government had committed under Modi by making fool of the 1.3 billion Indian citizens and unlawfully using government’s various departments. This is not just about the massive 3 lakh crores the BJP government had swindled but about the innocent lives and livelihoods of the 1.3 billion Indians that were lost as a result of the nation’s worst ever economic disaster called, ‘Demonetisation’.

In spite of the presence of huge army and police force, the public gathered in large numbers. They went in front of the genocide criminal Maithripala Sirisena’s cavalcade and showed black flags. They raised the slogans against the President, “Where is the investigation commission for missing people?”, “Where are the illegally detained Eezham Tamils?” which brought the skies down.
By defeating the deceptions of betrayers Sambanthar and Sumanthran, the people have realized that justice can be achieved only through struggle and therefore, led the black flag protest. There are women who are protesting “fast unto death” demanding to know the whereabouts of their families who were missing for more than 20 days and seeking the immediate release of political prisoners.
Meanwhile, the U.N investigation team has met the protesters. After that, they have openly accused the government of not taking any steps for reconciliation. The alarmed Sri Lankan government expecting international pressure on it has begun steps to defuse the situation.
As a follow-up, the Sri Lankan finance minister Mangala Samaraweera is in the US to attend the World Bank meeting. The Srilankan media reports today say that Mangala Samaraweera will meet and have a discussion with US foreign affairs department officials. On the other hand, the Srilankan government has assigned “The Hindu” the responsibility to hide the public protests in Sri Lanka. This is the reason behind unverified reports being carried in “The Hindu” for past two weeks. We should lead the way in uprooting the constant venom spewing “The Hindu” from Tamil Nadu.
Above all, whatever the treachery Sinhalese bring upon them, the Eezham Tamils have proven again that they are mighty enough to struggle and defeat all evil designs. They will win for sure. We will stand with them.

]]>Ever since Kashmir was announced as an integral part of India , several state sponsored violence has happened in Kashmir. As a result of the Kashmiris agitation for their right for self determination, in 1948 the then prime minister of India , Jawahar lal nehru promised the people of Kashmir on the floor of Indian Parliament as well as in the United Nations that a referendum will be conducted for the people of Kashmir. But for the past 60 years the Indian government is betraying the people of Kashmir without fulfilling that promise.
The UN charter defines “The right to self determination” as a fundamental right of the people. But the Indian government continues to portray the people who are fighting for self determination as terrorists. The Indian state has consciously portrayed the struggle of the people of Kashmir as an act of terrorism to the rest of India. Instead of using Parliamentary democratic means, India has always responded to the demands of the people of Kashmir by using Armed forces and has oppressed the people of Kashmir through its state terror. It is clear that India wants a solution through violent means and not through peaceful methods.
When the current BJP government came to power it announced that its going to withdraw article 370 of Indian Constitution which gives special powers to Kashmir and thereby created fresh conflicts. Every demand made by the people of Kashmir is being responded with a threatening tone by the Indian state.
As per the official statement by the Indian state the number of people killed in Kashmir between 1990 and 2011 alone is around 43,000. But according to the reports by various human rights organisations the number of people killed in the same timeframe is above 70,000. Over 1 lakh Kashmiris have been killed so far. Many mass graves have been discovered throughout Kashmir. The Human Rights Watch has reported in its report that the Indian Army is using Rape as a weapon against the women of Kashmir. Thousands of women have been subjected to rape by the Indian Army and since most of them are in the villages, the Human Rights Watch says that the exact statistics cannot be known.
Following the killing of Hizbul-Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani by the Indian armed forces on July 8, 2016 huge protests have erupted in Kashmir. More than 2 lakh people had gathered to attend the last rites of Burhan Wani. Following this the Indian armed forces have unleashed violence and oppression on the people of Kashmir. The Indian army has used pellet guns against the protestors and a result thousands of people have been severely injured and many of them have lost their eyes. There are now accusations that the Indian army is consciously aiming at the eyes of the protestors so as to blind them. Even children have not been spared in this attack. In the past 10 days alone 44 Kashmiris have been killed.
Indian army and CRPF have continuously maintained a state of tension in Kashmir. The people of Kashmir are protesting for the withdrawal of Indian army from their soil. Inspite of that around 7 lakh Indian troops has been stationed in Kashmir and has entire Kashmir has been under the grip of military which is the prime reason for these many deaths. There has been no proper investigation done on the cases of killings and rape by the Indian army. Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) has given limitless power to the army that has been used against the citizens of Kashmir. Under this act the Indian Army has the power to arrest and interrogate anyone without any warrant. Human rights activists world wide have continuously protested against this draconian act and demanded for its withdrawal. The killings that have happened in Kashmir over years are parallel to the Genocide of the Tamils in Tamil eelam. We the Tamils, who are fighting for justice for the Genocide of Tamils and the ongoing structural genocide, righteously voice our support for the people of Kashmir against the oppression of Indian state.
Our tamil leader and chief of self-respect & rationalist movement ‘Thanthai’ EVR Periyar as early as in 1940s and 50s voiced in support of Kashmir and opposed the attaché of Kashmir to Indian sub-continent. He also pointed out that “It is Kashmiri who has the right to decide where to join and where not to. Only Kashmiris have to take a call about their future. Neither India nor Pakistan has the right to decide the fate of Kashmir. Both of them should get out of Kashmir”
The May 17 Movement, Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam, Tamilar Vidiyal Katchi come together and have organised a protest to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir in their struggle for justice.
We Demand the Indian state to:
- Stop the genocide of the people of Kashmir
- Repeal AFSPA
- Withdraw the 7,00,000 Indian army troops from Kashmir immediately.
- Do not refuse the fundamental right of the “Right of self determination of Kashmiris”
- Fulfil the promise of referendum made to the people of Kashmir in UN.
In line with above demands we are conducting protest in Tamilnadu capital Chennai on 19th July at Valluvar Kottam evening 4 PM onwards.

Good Evening Mr.President
We are ethinic eelam tamils and living in our traditional homeland. The whole conflict in srilanka started just because the srilankan state rejected our identity and trying to persecute all tamils including tamils of indian origin. Srilanka disenfranchised half a million Tamils from their nationality and voting rights has diminished tamils democratic power in Srilankan parliament from 33% to 20%. And sending eelam tamils out of srilanka as refugees of atleast another million tamils helped Sinhalese srilankan state to consolidate its majoritarian position in Srilanka. And the current news of tamil refugees stranded in Indonesia is the highest evidence of the oppression on tamils and the failure of the so-called new Srilankan state. . Not to forget that 99% Srilankan Military and Top executives of the nation is 100% ethnic Sinhalese.
With this background and thriving Sinhala buddist racism srilanka however its institutional changes and adaptation of international treaties can never able to deliver democratic atmosphere to eelam tamils. Because the sinhala chavanism and racism is not adequately addressed in the resolution adapted in UNHRC or the political solution which is center of the conflict is not addressed. With majority Sinhala holding on to the key positions of the state and with lack of power over the land, cultural and political rights by the victims , this present process in the international process will only encourage the racism and will put eelam tamils into the structural genocide.
With Right to self determination and independence as a fundamental human right similar to peoples of Bosnia, Timor, south Sudan , we people of eelam tamils repeatedly calling on the international community to adhere to the international human right fundamentals and not to heed the racial, discriminatory and genocidal Sinahla state establishment.
We put forward our concern based on the strong protest by the eelam tamils at the ground against the domestic mechanism, happening everyday despite intimidation by the security personal. In the last two days hundreds of eelam tamil victims and activists protesting in tamil homeland.
We would like to recall Assistant secretary General of Human rights’ statement in the morning session that UNHRC is not neutral but impartial and are standing with victims, we are looking forward to the council to listen to the Resolution adopted by the Northern provincial council , a legal and elected body by the victims , to start an international independent investigation on Srilanka.

Counter to the rejoinder dated 05/05/2016 of Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
While thanking the ministry for the response to our press release, we have total disagreement to the contents of the aforesaid your rejoinder of the ministry.
With the balance tilted towards the Developed Nations post TFA ( Trade Facilitation Agreement) ratification by your government in November 2014, India, the champion of the developing nations and least developed nations from Doha meeting, find its concern to push for the DDA (Doha Development Agreement) is more difficult if not easy. Your statement in parliament post July 2014 summit of WTO(World Trade Organization) on FTA and its implications was historic and stronger, but your parliamentary statement in November without enough briefing and reasons is very surprising since it lost the commitment and conviction which you showed in your speech delivered four months earlier. In your August 5th address in 2014 clearly states that the FTA can be signed if all of the DDA is being agreed by the developed nations and you also clearly explained the implications on signing FTA without getting the DDA consensus. The para from 3 to 8 clearly explains the people of India about the importance of the FTA in achieving goals of India’s concern at WTO.
The ministry involved in international negotiations on trade, is bound to inform the common public about the apprehensions and contradictions between the statements made in the parliament on 05/08/2014 and 28/11/2014 by the Honorable Minister and to the happenings at Nairobi WTO meet during December 2015.
We believe, having the ministry thrown away its only negotiating trump card in favour of developed countries, particularly to US, without getting anything in return, India along with other developing countries, are reduced to a point of weakness on a negotiating table and made to seek mercy to get the long pending Public Stock Holding of food Security and Speical Safeguard Mechanism – SSM to be resolved. The Ministry and the NDA government hasn’t clarified the nation about the urgency and the rationale in signing the FTA within four months from its stand-off, without seeking public consensus and not even consulting the major political parties in our country. We have a strong view that this is a very very serious issue and needs debate in parliament as the Honorable minister herself knows the importance of the FTA in clinching the deal specific to India. Post signing of FTA, your statement in Parliament in November 2014, didn’t even explain the brownie points favorable to our nation through FTA.
The high hopes on Nairobi fostered by the Honorable Minister on 28/11/2014 after clearing all huddles to the developed countries led by US from the deadlock created on 31/07/2014 to the Trade Facilitation Agreement-TFA-now proved futile. The time framed decision on permanent solution before 31/12/2015 assured by the General Council of WTO on 27/11/2014, is further extended without a time frame by the Director General of WTO through letter dated 21/12/2015.
To our great distress, after achieving TFA from the dead lock created by India during July /2014 and on voluntary withdrawal by India, the US and EU, now opened the other door to say that DDA is dead. Report says that India not even raised its objection, when China, the other member in the five member team was almost waging a war against the move of US and EU (Ref:EPW 12/03/2016 P50).
TFA is one of the four major Singaporean Agenda, which was thrown out in 2003 Cancun meet of DDA, found its way into DDA and became a ‘binding’ agreement as WTO, wherein 2001 DDA, which centered on public stock holding of food security could not find place in the agreement or a permanent solution as a package of Bali meet or at least compliance of General Council time frame decision before 31/12/2015, leave alone single undertaking assured by DDA as”nothing is agreed till everything is agreed”. Now public stock holding is reduced from term of WTO agreement to the best endeavor clause. Therefore the ministry is in crucial juncture to explain to the public how it is going to achieve the Public Stock Holding after losing all its golden opportunities.
When SSM is not covered by the ‘peace clause’ of no legal dispute till permanent solution, what relevance the SSM will have when TFA implemented in full force. We are unaware and could not imagine the situation, when TFA comes into force without any decision on permanent solution on public stock holding but with peace clause of no legal huddle. Will it not destroy our agricultural sector with agricultural trade influx through TFA? What assurance and mechanism is proposed by NDA government that this will not happen?
The effective abandonment of Doha Round at the Nairobi talks, NDA government has all the responsibility to address and reason out the failure of its move to ratify the FTA to the Indian public.
We have all the reasonable concerns and worries about how the ministry is going to face the grim situation of cotton growers, after cutting back export subsidy from 01/01/2017 though the farmer’s suicide is ever raising because of unbearable losses beyond their control.
Why India was unable to secure permanent solution in spite of strong support of majority of developing countries at Nairobi. NDA government’s weak posture in Nairobi has costed not only india but to all the developing and least developed countries awaiting to push the DDA agenda post Geneva ratification of FTA. The successful campaigning for the cause of the poor people across the globe in 2001 the DDA got shaped and this turned out to be the trump card for the developing and LDC till your ratification in Geneva on November 2014. Anyone going through your statement in Parliament on 5th August 2014 could easily understand on holding on to the DDA. ( Annexure enclosed)
Your plenary speech in Nairobi talks has all the components to indicate the world that the India is not prepared to talk tough on its commitments for her larger poor and the attitude of Indian mission to the Nairobi is not so encouraging to the countries and people who look for settlement for DDA, with only getting disappointed by your absence in the facilitators meeting aimed to address the agriculture negotiations. NDA’s lack of will to fight to move forward in DDA and take a lead in Nairobi talks including the steadied silence in the Green room negotiations helped the developed nations to take advantage in the WTO was not a secret to the world.
When a six point agenda, including public stock holding, SSM, along with export subsidy, cotton issue are at Nairobi how export subsidy and cotton issue, US interest matters alone found solution, and public stock holding and SSM are kicked further without any time frame.
What kind of further concession we bound to lose to secure the permanent solution on public stock holding and SSM?
Above all within a fortnight of 05/08/2014 statement at parliament, GOI, constituted High Level Committee under the head of former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Mr. Santhakumar, to restructure Food Corporation of India which is the only strong food bastion for an effective ‘Public Distribution System’ in a progressive state like Tamilnadu. The committee submitted its reports on 22/01/2015, sharply after India cleared TFA on27/11/2014, recommending for gradual transfer of subsidy to Direct Benefit Transfer system and allow the Food Security Act to sleep. Now it all real that there is an agenda with GOI than the assurance of the ministry in its rejoinder dated 05/05/2016.
In summing up we reiterate our fear about PDS(Public Distribution System) and the farm subsidies to small farmers in specific. It is nothing but the apprehensions expressed by the Honourable Minister on 05/08/2014, which was very precisely confirmed in the subsequent Nairobi meeting.
Our concerns and fears were right on seeing the clearance TFA. Now the ministry or the Honorable Minister is bound to dispel the fear with equal reasons and arms & ammunition on hand to get things achieved in WTO and the reasons to disband Food Corporation of India, the key institution for public stock Holding and ensure PDS.
In the foregoing reasons our contention in the press meet about PDS and Subsidy to farmers are substantive.

3. Amongst these Ministerial Decisions, two are of particular significance — the Ministerial Decision for an Agreement on Trade Facilitation and the Ministerial Decision on Public Stock-holding for Food Security Purposes.
4. The Trade Facilitation Agreement is basically aimed at greater transparency and simplification of customs procedures, use of electronic payments and risk management techniques and faster clearances at ports. We have autonomously taken several similar measures such as the ‘Indian Customs Single Window Project’ announced in the Budget 2014-15 to facilitate trade, under which importers and exporters will be able to lodge documents at a single point, reducing interface with Governmental agencies, dwell time and the cost of doing business.
5. The Protocol of the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) was to be adopted by 31 July 2014 by the WTO. After this the Agreement would automatically come into force from 31 July 2015 if ratified by two-thirds of the members of the WTO.
6. In contrast to their efforts on Trade Facilitation in the WTO, some developed countries have been reluctant to engage on other issues.
7. Seeing the resistance to taking forward the other Decisions, the apprehension of developing countries was that once the process of bringing the Trade Facilitation Agreement into force was completed, other issues would be ignored, including the important issue of a permanent solution on subsidies on account of public stock-holding for food security purposes.

India, therefore, took the stand that till there is an assurance of commitment to find a permanent solution on public stock-holding and on all other Bali deliverables, including those for the Least Developed Countries (LDCs), it would be difficult to join the consensus on the Protocol of Amendment for the Trade Facilitation Agreement

]]>The landmass of Kurdistan had been under the control of the nations Syria , Turkey, Iran and Iraq. In each of these nations the Kurds had faced oppression and they started their freedom struggle. As a result the Kuridstan Workers Party a progressive organization united the Kurds who were distributed across many nations and strengthened the struggle.
The Krudish landmass was occupied by people of many Ethnic groups like Mangols, Afgans, Parsis and Arabs. As a result the Kurds mixed with these Ethnic groups. Distrust for a fellow Kurd was rife in their society. Under these circumstances guided by a progressive political movement the Kurds organized themselves into a strong military force.
Kurds were systematically executed under the reign of SadamHussain. Even in his rival state, Iran the Kurds were targeted and killed. Turkey which has been a puppet of America also killed the Kurds. The Kurds faced oppression in Syria also.
After the fall of SadamHussain the Kurds liberated their land from Iraq. Now in the ongoing Syria War they fought against the forces of Al-Queda, ISIS and Turkey and have liberated their homeland and have declared it an autonomous state.
There were various factors on the ground that could have stood in the way of the unity of Kurdish People. But in spite of that the Kurds were able to stand together based a progressive ideological politics. This is a lesson to all of us.
Even after the Turkish government arrested and jailed the leader of Kurdish freedom movement they were not able to imprison their freedom movement. The freedom movement continues unfettered. Their struggled centered on the demand for an Independent Kurdistan stands strong.
At the end of the genocidal war in Eelam in 2009 the Kurdish rebels wrote a historically important strong letter in support and solidarity with the Eelam .
The letter mentioned the betrayal of Karuna. The letter was a spat on the face of all the pseudo human rights and pseudo Dalit intellectuals in Tamil Nadu who hailed Karuna. Only a Freedom movement can understand the realities about another freedom movement.
The Kurdish rebels were also banned in America as a terrorist organization. Europe too did not support their movement. Kurds who were politically associated with the Krudish freedom movement were killed in France two years back.
The Kurdish rebels did not surrender their struggle and demands in the feet of the western imperialism. Rather the young Kurdish rebels march strongly on the path to freedom and have reached an important milestone.
The Kurdish rebels did not segregate the Kurds as pure Kurds, outsiders, mixed race and another nationality. It would have lessened their strength. Rather it united all the poor and oppressed working class people and built a strong freedom movement. Even after the Kurds mixed with people of other ethnic groups the stood together as one Nationality, the Kurds and have won their rights.
In this historically important moment May 17 movement congratulates the Kurdish rebels.
